"This a perfect lobster pasta. It’s for those who love lobsters with
an Italian dig! Ideal served on Valentine’s Day!"
Serving: 4
Ingredients
• 1 large (2 lb.) fresh lobster
• 3 tbsps. butter
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
• 4 tbsps. olive oil
• 4 tsps. salt
• 1 tsp. ground black pepper
• 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 (8 oz.) package dried spaghetti
• 1 tbsp. butter
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
Direction
• Bring water to boil in a large pot, add lobster and then let it cook for about 6
to 8 minutes until turned bright red.
• Once the lobster starts to cook, over medium heat, melt three tbsps. butter in
a large skillet. Add 3 cloves of garlic and onion. Cook while stirring to
release liquid. Avoid browning them.
• Once lobster comes out of pot, transfer it to a cutting board and then chop
lengthwise in half with a big knife. Put the halves with the meaty side down
in the skillet along with garlic and onion. Let it cook for approximately three
minutes.
• Bring water to boil in another pot and add a little salt. Then place in
spaghetti and let it cook for 8 minutes or until tender. To save time and pot,
boil pasta in the lobster water as it’s already boiling and add a little salt.
• Place tomatoes into skillet and increase the heat to high and heat to boil.
Add cinnamon, pepper, salt and olive oil. Cook while stirring continuously
for about 5 to 7 minutes. Gradually add cream while stirring continuously.
Sauce should have a nice pink color. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Keep
the sauce warm while stirring occasionally until pasta is cooked.
• Drain off water from spaghetti and transfer to a large serving plate. Mix in
the remaining garlic and butter. Spread tomato sauce on top of spaghetti and
put the 2 lobster halves in the middle. Drizzle parsley all over before serving.
